3/4 Four-string Plywood Double Bass

Made by the Hora company in Reghin in 2021, this is a fully plywood bass in mint condition. The instrument was owned by a jazzmusician who used it for acoustical experimentation as well as Mingus's gut-string style! Quite the range for a modest bass like this, it comes with an extra bridge (higher for gut-strings) and a nut prepared for 3-string playing as well. A European-made bass, fully set-up in our Brussels workshop, with ebony fingerboard and tailpiece! Stringlength 104 cm with Belcanto strings.
