A recently restored and stable four-string double bass wearing the Darche stamp on its button. Relatively small double bass with a large tone. Early 1900's contour conversion to its current shape, neck replaced in the 1990's: thus its stellar low price! All fractures are stabilized, original bassbar present, as is the original endpin. Massive ebony fingerboard and D-neck with a 103cm string length. A very special jazz or orchestral bass with a fine tone and a nice bit of history.
