Double bass Jacquet-Frères
A nice example of the Jacquet-Frères' making, this bass dates back to 1854. A true example of the style and is in restored condition.
The tuners have been replaced to very detailled hatpegs quick-change by CVL of GVL, enableding rattle-free and precise tuning. incredibly voluminous, fast responding bass. Soft in tone, but with lots of projection and strong. An absolute top instrument for the demanding musician, this bass enhances every bass group. Conveniently playable even in the high registers with soloist qualities. Very good condition, perfectly restored and optimally set up.
